2024 Spring Launch Week at the Herb Garden
A Celebration of Spring, Earth Day & Arbor Day

Join us as we celebrate our favorite time of year! The signs of a fruitful Spring are amplified on our garden grounds with the awakening of flora and fauna all around. Gentle blooms show off vibrant colors, pollinators return from their winter slumber and visitors and locals alike find themselves on cozy patios to take in the warmth and sunshine.
Spring Launch week will commence with an Arbor Day tree sale Sunday, April 21st in our Botanical Room parking lot. Presale link can be found below in our event details to make your purchases. The first 50 customers will receive a smaller, complimentary oak tree to take home as well, so shop early!
Take note of our community yoga classes, workshops, demos, and special restaurant hours, most of which will be complimentary. Note, if you’d like to participate in the Herbal Cocktail Class advanced tickets will be required and can be found below.
We look forward to enjoying the best parts about Texas Hill Country living with our community during this special celebration at our very own happy place, here at the Hill Country Herb Garden.

Celebrate Arbor Day with us by planting native and adapted trees!
Pre-order your trees now through April 13th HERE for pick up on Sunday, April 21st | 9am - 3pm at Hill Country Herb Garden. Trees purchased during Spring Launch Week will receive a 2’ sapling for free, supplied by the Texas A&M Forest Service.
*Pick up will be on the back side of the property, off Bluebird St. (407 Whitney St.)
You may also schedule tree delivery within 50 miles of Fredericksburg for an additional fee.
As a thank you for your tree purchase, you'll receive a special discount on perennial and herb plant purchases on site (during one shopping trip):
*Purchase a 15 gallon tree and get 10% off of all perennials and herbs

Swing by the Pergola at Hill Country Herb Garden behind The Restaurant between 4:30 - 5:30 pm for a kid-centered (or mommy & me) planting activity to celebrate the new growth of Spring!
We'll share all about what plants need to thrive and kids will get their hands in the dirt to plant their own seeds to take home.

Join O2 Yoga Instructor Melinda Kirchhoff for a full moon gentle flow and sound bath with crystal singing bowls on the Garden Checker Board, Tuesday, 4/23 at 6:30 pm.
This evenings flow will be during the Full Pink Moon; announcing spring, harnessing positivity, growth/renewal and transformation. Spiritually speaking, the 2024 Pink Moon is a time to shed old skin and emerge as a more empowered and authentic version of yourself.
Fun Fact: The name "Pink Moon" was not given due to the color of the moon itself, but due to spring ground cover (such as pink phlox) coming into bloom.

Kimberly Kraus is a licensed acupuncturist and butterfly warrior as a “Monarch Midwife.”
She has raised thousands of Monarch & queen butterflies at her home for the past 17 years. In her Pollinator Workshop on the 24th at 1 PM, she will teach attendees about the Monarch’s lifecycle & how to help pollinators flourish.

Join Herbalist Lauren Peterson in the Garden as you learn how to use Texas native herbs and various garden flora to infuse your spirits for a refreshing garden-inspired cocktail, just like the ones we make on property!
Guests will learn how to infuse and craft two unique cocktails, and of course taste through them as well.
Guests will enjoy nibbles during the class from the kitchen and go home with recipes to infuse their own liquor at home.
